Hey guys,
I am having a "disagreement" with a supplier having to do with the size of the pin that goes through the distributor drive gear on Oldsmobiles. All I have to go by is my original 84 307 distributor which has a 3/16 pin. Supplier is telling me it should be 1/8"

I have had this car since new and the distributor has never been out of it till now so I know that it is factory. I just need a few guys that have a distributor sitting around to verify it for me so I can prove a point. I dont know if maybe some of the engines use a 1/8" pin ?

The difference is pretty obvious but if you are not sure you can compare it to a 1/8" and 3/16" drill bit.
