I have an 65 442 and I am planning on rebuilding the engine. There are a couple of things I am not sure of. I would like to put a complete roller system in it. Roller cam, lifters and rockers. Has anyone ever done it. If they have is there any information I should know. Also I am looking for a place where I can purchase some .40 over pistons. I have looked but no luck. Thanks JIM

If it has the .921 lifter bores then you'll need to have them bushed to accept a standard Olds roller lifter.
Pistons are available thru me and others. But before you buy a set of Egge's or Kantors, weigh all your options. You'll be glad you did.

Also be aware that most all cast pistons are shorter than the factory pistons. This can have a significant impact on the compression ratio. Forged pistons will likely be the correct height.
FYI, .057" over pistons would be standard bore 350 pistons.

I mic the lifter bore on my 65 400 and it is .844. Could you tell me where you found .921. I am not familiar with that one. Also if I can get .40 pistons from you who makes them and what is the cost. Thank You JIM

I have a roller cam ground on the 45* ready to go if you're interested. I can supply you with just about everything if you like.
