Need help identifying a broken part. choke tube?

Hi. been starting to replace parts on my 455 (quadrajet carb) Delta88. to track down a vacuum leak that's making it stall randomly. I took off the carb today to replace the base gasket, as it was leaking enough I could hear gas sizzle. anyway this thing was broken off. a few questions.... what is this called? it attaches to what I think is the auto choke on the carb. so Choke Tube? I just can't figure out what to search to get a proper replacement. I've found some stuff that looks similar. will I have to flair my own lines to get this in? also could this have caused the vacuum leak I've been trying to track down? I'm still new to this stuff. its the first car carb I've ever removed. thanks guys

Just to add a little: The tubes do not fit together enough to make a perfect seal - each one has a bit of a flare on one end, and they fit together snugly.

Check the U-shaped tube that goes into the manifold to make sure it's intact.

The tubes are used to conduct air from inside the air cleaner through the U-shaped heating tube in the manifold, through the choke spring housing, and then through a tiny orifice and into the carburetor venturi. Because of this, broken, leaking, or missing choke tubes cannot cause a vacuum leak, because they are already a metered leak.

ok cool. thanks! just wanted to make sure I could run my motor without it when I put the carb back together. I figured that was the case but wanted to check. I ordered all the parts separate through ebay cause it was a bit cheaper then the linked website. but still not cheap at all for some little tubes haha
