Does any vendor sell pre-formed steel fuel line that goes from the mechanical fuel pump to the quadrajet carb. ? Or is bend your own only ?

When you order make sure you order the correct line for the setup on your car. The hard lines ARE different depending upon correct OEM fuel pump and carb inlet location/orientation. One Size Fits All replacement pumps don't always have the connectors in the same location and/or orientation as the OEM connectors to which the lines are configured to connect. Even when everything is correct, there is likely to be some amount of adjustment required to get everything to connect without causing binding of the threads, and subsequent leaks.

Supercars has also been real good to me in the past but lately (in the last 6 months or so) there seems to be something amiss. I don't know if there's a medical issue or what but Supercars hasn't been responding as they previously did. Does anyone have updates?

And using an aftermarket intake can confuse things too. I used an inline tube product. It needed some "adjustment" but worked fine.

On my 455 with an edelbrock performer and a quadrajet I also used an inline tube line. What I did was on bolted the carb, attached the line most of the way, then bolt down the carb and tighten the line all the way.

That’s exactly how I attached my prebent lines from ILT. Seems to work out better that way

They make the Pontiac W72 foam covered fuel line, it may fit yours. Keeps the line cooler. It gets pretty hot if you’ve ever checked it out. In-line ***** have it.
