Bracketry?

Anyone have a good picture of the front of a 455, with the Alt., PS, and AC brackets on it. I'm putting a 455 in the 56 Olds, and have parts from 2 different 455, to try and sort out the bracketry. Not even sure I have enough brackets for one engine, though I do have some doubles.

The brackets vary from year to year.

Yes, I know, but I'm sure that I can figure out what's what with any picture at all. The brackets I have are similar, but slightly different. I just need a starting point. The engine is painted, and I don't want to experiment too much with bolting different things on and off , and risk chipping the paint. Plus, I don't think I even have power steering brackets.

Can you post pictures of the brackets you have? Maybe we can key out what goes together or not. Most of the brackets will interchange between the years and engine sizes 330-455 so it may be a case of just getting a set that will do what you want. I've got extra brackets as do many members here. So once you decide what to go with and what you may need creating a parts wanted thread will locate what's lacking. John

Looks like the alt. brackets need the PS brackets to be complete. Don' think I have any PS brackets. Maybe only part of the AC brackets?
