90deg vacuum nipple on distro vacuum advance canister

The '77 403's stock distributor has a vacuum advance canister with a 90' turn in the hard vacuum line - thus the open end of the vacuum gallery in the canister points mostly towards the A/C evaporator (instead of the firewall).

The distributor I have on the 455 has the more-typical "straight" vacuum port (pointing towards the firewall). In fact I had to cut this metal nipple down to size so the 455 would fit in the '84-B Body car, and the vacuum line would clear the firewall...

Please help me locate a replacement vacuum advance canister with a right-angle vacuum port.

I have not seen a replacement vac advance can with the right angle fitting. The original distributor on my 67 Delta has the right angle. Why can't you take the can off the 403 distributor?

Nothing is stopping me from swapping the can from one distributor to the other. I just thought I'd possibly save some time by buying something new.

Understand. I just haven't seen a 90 deg version for sale new unless it is an (expensive) NOS part.
