'64 into a '62

'64 into a '62

Would a '64 Olds 394 ultra high compression engine be compatible with a '62 Dynamic 88? Would it just fit right in there? Sorry for the dumb question; I don't know anything!!

59-62 394 uses a different front cover than 63-64 so there'll be some difference in the front engine mount. I think it will bolt in but not 100% sure. I'm also not 100% sure the 59-62 timing cover readily bolts to a 63-64 block.
