Aluminum heads inake

Throw it away and get a different hood. The Torker does not work with the OAI hood. You can get a repro air cleaner adapter and cut it up to fit, but there's nothing you can do to the hood.

Hi Rick
I don't think its huge on performance, but I've been told the older O4B aluminum intake will fit under an OAI air cleaner/hood setup. That's against factory cast iron heads, I don't think the aluminum heads would be any different but I don't know for sure. If you have factory OAI parts I wouldn't do anything to modify them, they're too rare and worth to much $$. Joe did mention the repo ring that doesn't have a flapper door in it, just the outer ring with the foam seal. That will shorten it some but I don't know if that's enough to use the torquer. John
