Is there no paint code? An example would be 75 A (matador red with white top) If there is no paint code stamped, there should be 2 dashes - - before the A. Those dashes would indicate a special paint color ordered by the customer that wasn't an Olds body color for that year.
Is it a single gate shifter, or the dual (his/her) gate?
05B means the car was built during the second week of May.
Yes, I did mention the name of the site: Wild About Cars . Just enter that into your search browser and it will take you to the site. Join for free, takes very little time. The info about Olds I was talking about is under the header called "The Library". From there you go to the factory publications and select "Oldsmobile".
