More dumb rookie questions

Working on my 1968 400 for my 442 and found a company that offers a prep and paint kit. When I pull up the applications it list a bronze and a gold for oldsmobile. Which one is the correct color for my motor? Thanks

Please realize there are no dumb questions. We may have some dumb answers (rarely) but the dumb thing can be to not ask the questions. Folks come on this site to get and offer information. That is what it is all about. Good luck with your car.

Actually there is such a thing as a dumb question, this one isn't. You'll know when you ask one.

I figured that would be the case. I couldn't remember the color of the motor in the '68 I had out of high school (that I bought from the original owner for $500). In fact I don't recall looking under the hood. I do know though the color of the smoke that boiled out of one of the fender wells was white as I burned the tires
