Incorrect hood?
Am I correct in believing the hood on this 69 is not the original? Also, there is something weird about the wheels isn't there? Thanks!!

You are correct in the statement on the hood, and the wheel is missing a chrome trim ring.

As Koda said, wrong hood, that is a '70 O.A.I. hood. The wheels could also be newer with the snap on center caps. They also look like they are 7" wide, in '69 they were 6" with exception of the Hurst Olds which were 15x7.

As noted that's a 1970 hood. Lots of people have put them on 69s.
