New to me - 1970 -442w30
Greetings everyone, New to the forum but long time owner and lover of Olds 442's. My First 442 experience was one i bought was when i was 15 years old and it was a 73 - 442, 4spd for $400.00!. held onto to it for 10 years and did the best i could for a kid trying to restore it. I've been looking for a new one for about a year and seeking advice and asking many questions from olds clubs, members, etc. During my search I was referred to Steve Minore who helped advised on a couple of cars i was interested in. After MANY conversations, meetings and understanding my criteria, he introduced me to one of his cars he had been a caretaker for over 14 years. It was love at first sight and brought me right back to when i was young. I'm now the proud owner of this beautiful, 1970 442-W30. 60k original miles, paint job in 1985, with little work done by the prior owner(s), southern Californian car with no rust and never been in an accident and a great documented history.. truly a time capsule that has been loved and cherished throughout the years. I know how much we all appreciate these rare and timeless classics so i wanted to share and also thank everyone that helped guide my decision and a special shout out and thanks to Steve Minore for his time, passion and patience.

Hi all thanks for all the love! i don't think it was posted for sale anywhere as it was more of a private sale/word of mouth. The stripes have been changed from White to Red. Other than that its Ebony black as it should. Also did i mention its a 4-spd? LOVE it!
