Need Help with emblem placement on 1968 442.
I have a 1968 Oldsmobile 442. The car was ordered with a GT Y70 stripe with the 442 fender numerals moved forward.
The car is being painted so I decided to move the numerals backwards and put on the large horizontal W36 stripe.
The holes have been welded up but now I'm stuck with drilling out new holes to mount the 3 separate "4 4 2" numerals.
Does anyone know the exact measurements for the holes or exactly where the numerals should be mounted for the stripe?
Right now it's looking like I'm just going to have to center the stripe on the bottom of the fender where it squares off and then center the numerals in the gap left by the stripe. I'd really like to have something more exact to go off of.
If anyone has any information that could help me, I'd appreciate it a lot. I've been looking on the internet for hours and have come up empty handed.

Here's a copy of the page in the '68 assembly manual that usually is missing and this should help. There have been other threads on this site that get real specific. I recommend doing a search on the bar above for "1968 W36 stripe" or something like that to get details.

That picture helps a lot. I've been looking through threads but am yet to find actual hole measurements for the 6 spots on each fender that need to be drilled.
