1969 442 - Correct Door Window Guide Roller
All,
I had a swivel tip window roller shear off at the threads in my drivers door and am having a tough time finding one that matches the one I removed. I ordered one from OPGI (P/N: CC28078) but the overall length was too short. The window going down would interfere with the door handle linkage. The dimensions that I'm measuring from the one that broke are listed as follows: Roller OD = 15/16", Length from end of roller to glass is approx = 1.3", Overall length prior to breaking appeared to be approx =1.75".
Am I correct to assume that the dimensions of this roller were correct for my car? Does anyone have a part number for one to replace it? as I haven't been able to find it,

Ok folks. This is what I found out. I believe GM part number 9813200 is the correct guide roller for the lower door track if you can find one. I ended up purchasing Dorman P/N 74407 (currently produced and available) which is just a touch longer (0.200") so I had to move the track just a bit. The Dorman roller is also threaded for 1/4-28, whereas the round nut is tapped for 1/4-20. With improvisation - it will work well.
