69' documentation???

I know Pontiac has phs to refer to for documentation but is there any resourse for me to check and verify my 442's build, color, and options?
Primary issue is that my body tag has a dent right where the color code is and even tho i know only black paint was stripped, i have no way to proove this.

Unfortunately that information is not available for Oldsmobiles.

N00b here, not sure this is what you are looking for, but an interesting read for '69.

This is quite comprehensive:
https://gmheritagecenter.com/gm-heri...tion-kits.html

from here you can request build paperwork:

that's a blanket statement.....
if the car was originally sold in Canada you can get the info.

George Zapora has been supplying this type of verification for decades.

Your only shot is if it was built or sold in Canada in which case you can contact George Zapora at GM Vintage Vehicle Services. Let me know if you want/need contact info.

Again, the build paperwork for US cars does not exist. Yes, on the remote chance that the car was built or originally sold in Canada, you can get that info from GM of Canada. The GM Media Archive Vehicle Information Kit is only generic information that is available elsewhere (dealer brochures, RPO lists, etc) and not specific build data for a particular VIN.

Thanks guys, not here much cause of work..
i guess i am stuck. The reason i am worried is that i know the car is an original triple black convertible 4 spd car. But that is difficult to confirm for a future buyer.
Add to that the fact that i see the triple black cars like this one draw a higher value.
I want to sell the car when done and with a dented body tag it worries me..

Incorrect....Vintage Vehicle services of Canada documents information specific to the VIN.

But not for cars that were both built and sold in the US.

Yes, that is correct. Sorry Joe, my reading of your post was inaccurate.
In USA only generic information is available.
