New Gold in California!

I had to share this on the boards because my wife and son do not share the same enthusiasm. I'm always quick to spot an Olds muscle where I live. They are THAT rare. Anyone hear about the 98 oz. nugget they found in gold country here last week? Sold for some $4.x million. Anyway, yesterday I pulled into a rural golf course parking lot for my lunch break. I see a dark teal colored '70 442 parked as I pulled in. I HAD to get a closer look, as these sightings are usually moving when I notice them. I pull around to the front...W25 hood. Then my eye goes to the fender emblem...W-30. Cool! It was only then I noticed the plates...ORIGW30. Then I inspected one inner fender. All dark looking except for a little patch of red showing through on one small section. Also had rear deck spoiler. I really wanted to crawl underneath and check the block ID with the dash VIN to verify, but figured I would have some serious explaining to do if the owner made an appearance at that point. Needless to say, it made MY rainy day. Wish I could have got a picture, but I was unprepared.Next time.......
