'68 442 hood emblems

'68 442 hood emblems
Just purchased a '68 442 hood for my car because the one that I have appears the PO lost a fan blade or something and put a big up dent about 4 inches long on the right side. My question is : Should a 442 hood have the Oldsmobile emblem on the left front? My original hood does not have an emblem there and it looks like there never was one, and the new one has the holes. Also where can I get one of these emblems?

Cutlass S. I don't think the Supreme had the louvered hood. For the 442, just fill the holes for the script.
Year One has the Oldsmobile script, I'm pretty sure others do as well. However, it wouldn't be correct for a 442.
