Purchased 4 months ago, and awaiting a little restoration. Here's a few photos of my new pride and joy, the 1970 Cutlass Supreme. Also, some pics of how the Vista Cruiser came into being, and some pics of my long lost 1971 Cutlass S.

I transformed this '71 into a '70 in every detail. Purchased from Airport towing junk yard for $400, I outfitted this Beige '71 with the roof, tailgate and interior from the gold '70. A pair of NOS fenders and a 1970 core support from a 4 door Cutlass.

The roof has no rust, a rare thing to see in Florida, they all rust in the roof down there, but they seldom rust in the lower portions of the car. These dents were there when I bought it.

It was a nice looking car, as long as you didn't look too close. After cutting the roof off, and salvaging everything else, this car was scarped, it no longer exists, only in spirit in the Blue Vista, which carries the roof, tailgate and interior.

Two more of my 1971 Vista Cruisers with the restored '71 Cutlass. Everyone was very impressed with my car collection and wondered where and how did I find all these rare cars. At the time these pics were taken, the gold '70 was still in tact.

My front yard looking like a used car lot. The beige one is in the back yard mostly disassembled . I had four Vistas, a 1969 Cutlass and the red '71, all drivers, except for the beige project car, all at the same time.

My 1971 Cutlass, another extensive restoration, with a very long story behind it. I lost this car too, the same way I lost the Vista Cruiser.

Now with SSII's parked in the driveway at 1108 Royal Palm Ave in Orlando. There was no garage here, only a one stall carport. The Vista got the carport when I brought it home from the body shop.

It was years before I could look at these pictures again after loosing these cars to the towing company, all over the state of FL. Lousy insurance law. No insurance,,no tags. No tags,, they come and take your car away.It was illegal to keep unregistered cars on your property.

I built this car to last forever. It was my legacy, something to leave behind when I die.

It still has the 1969 rear bumper that I installed on it, and my NOS tail light lenses.

There's a sticker on the inside of the front bumper that reads, "Stockton Plating Company", so I know this is not the NOS bumper I installed on it 15years ago, but I'm just happy the car exists at all, and it's beautiful. I'm thankful it still looks beautiful and that I was able to get it back.

Installing the thermostat I bought in Cocoa Beach while buying the car. Made to Tittusville running at 245 degrees and climbing, had to stop at Home depot, buy some tools and install it. Then she leveled off at 230 degrees at 60-65 MPH during the heat of the day. 210 degrees at night.

Duct tapping the right low beam headlight in place as the headlight ring was broken. I got one from a 1970 Le Sabre and fixed it right yesterday.

Stopped at the Tennessee Welcome Center I-24, and noticed the bulge in the side wall of the left rear tire that I saw when I bought the car had gotten worse. Also the alternator belt was half shredded.
