Rim tire fitment question

Hey guys,

I am looking at purchasing a set of TSW rims that were on a 72 Nova for my 69 442.

18x9.5 with 20mm offset 275/35/18 on all for corners

just want some input if whether or not the following wheel and tire combo will work on my car.

Thank you

It is setup with stock suspension right now.

I have a feeling that those hit that nova all over the place, at least in the front.
+20mm offset is what the 5.0 mustangs used in the mid 80's and early 90's on a 7" wide wheel. Add another 2.5" to that and you end up with a pretty massive lip and I'd bet money that they won't clear the front fenders at the very least when turning. They might even hit the frame or the control arms on the backside when turning.

I would do a test fit before committing to purchasing these just to be on the safe side.

275/35-18s are a whole 25.5" in diameter. They will look lost in the A-body wheel wells, which really want tires closer to 26.5" or 27" in diameter. 20mm offset is about 0.8" - is that positive (inboard) or negative (outboard) offset? Inboard means they rub on the frame or inner fender, outboard means they rub on the wheel opening lip.
