Finallly Getting the Super 88 on the road

Two and a half years. Lots of help from CO members. Finally I've been able to take the Super 88 for a long drive. Still a ways to go- AC, heat and wipers don't work yet, but those are minor and for a 65 year old I have nothing but my Super 88 and my grandchildren to keep me busy.

The color combo is S62-60 - Terracota and Alcan White. People tell me that my car is "pretty"......I don't know how to respond to that.

Just smile and say "Thank You." I'm sure they mean it as a compliment. Most people seem to want to assign the feminine gender to an automobile and thus the "pretty" adjective. I never understood that. I'd say "hell of a nice car" and that would be a sincere compliment.
