You might contact www.hoodhingerepair.com. to see if they will repair yours for the '55 Olds. Their price seems to be more reasonable than most ( complete rebuild and restoration starting @175 a pair). Larry

I just had mine done by hood hinge repair and he was great and they look great. Now that he just did a pair of you go there it will be fresh in his mind! They look great and he uses top quality techniques. I think they are cheaper too.
