AT SHIFTER

69 Cutlass convertable
69 Cutlass console, the short one
some other year floor shifter.
Problem is that I dont know what year it is.
the whole thing is about 15" long has two sets of four holes towards the back side. where the detent goes, there are angled brackets that have holds in the top. It seems to line up with all the dimples on the body. However, the part that the shift cable would attach to seems a little close to where the hole in the body should go.

question is what year is this and can I use it with my 69 stuff, and where would the neutral safety switch attach to?

thanks BB

1969 Floor Shifter

I've taken several photos of a factory shifter installation in a 1969 with the console off. Go to the link for my photobucket site, select view all, then scroll down to about the middle. The photos have the title at the top. Let me know if you have any trouble viewing them. John

Shifter

Not sure, check the measurements compared to the photos on photobucket. First glance it looks like the correct one. If its not, post the measurements and I'll look at some other years I have. John

John, its 15" long with two sets of four holes at the back.
there is no bracket for the NSS on the left side.
the right side has two angled brackets with a single hole in the top.

this is definitely not a 69 shifter.
any help is appreciated
thanks BB
