I used the manifold style verses the "S" style of cooler and plumbed it in with braided stainless hose...Don't remember the brand.. Might have been Earls as that is where I get my braided stainless

A good place to pick up a cheap transmission cooler is any wrecking yard with a lot of mid 80's Chrysler Mini-Vans. The long wheelbase turbo versions used a good sized tranny cooler that mounted in front of the radiator.

I am no help in how to hook it up, but if you need a quick and cheap source for a cooler that is what I always use. I also grab the hoses but only so I make sure to get new ones that fit the cooler.

I would not reuse cooler lines that are 25 years old.
