I have a first year toronado I am rebuilding and I wanted to go something other than stock and I came across this picture, any one have insights into probable suspension mods needed? Also toying with the idea of a fitch Phantom tribute.

The car in the photo looks like it may have been one of the Pikes Peak cars.

I have some photos of a Fitch Phantom somewhere.. I'll se if I can find 'em

This shot seems to be contemporary with when the cars were built.

Other than the Two-tone paint all I can see is the driving lights and the canvas folding roof.

This shot is more modern. I believe this Phantom was for sale at the time I saved the photo.

the phantom mods seemed pretty straight forward. The magazine article can be found fairly easily, I would probably go buckets instead of the john fitch vented bench seat. other than that it was just new shocks, straight through exhaust, driving lights and a manual override for the switch pitch stall converter oh and the hole in the roof
