Search for cherry 1968 Toro

I have decided that my next car is going to be a 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado. That said, I have found it very hard to find one. I am looking for one in quite nice shape in either black or silver. Although I would consider other options. No vinyl tops please. I am very much need a car soon and would like it to be a Toronado. Any and all leads would be much appreciated.

If you have the time surf Craigslist from cities in your part of the country. Also if you haven't done it yet post a wanted ad on this site, and you can also post free wanted ads at: 442.com realoldspower.com and v8Buick The Buick site has a section for "Other" and there seems to be a lot of guys with both Buick and Olds cars. And of course keep an eye on ebay, just about everything under the sun shows up there at some point. Welcome to the world of Oldsmobiles!!! John

hello my name is robbie i am also new here actualythis is my first post but any who i have a 1968/69 it says 69 on the tittle but it has the 68 grills and such but it is silver no vinal top 99% rust free 455 big block runs strong might need rebuild in near future (old age taking its toll) power seat power windows all options xept telscoping wheel the grills still work i have been very carefull to keep them working windshield has crack in it aand drivers side window was recently broken i have another one for it all electronics xept the radio works nice black vinal seats and dash have all papers scince first owner baught it in 1969 in california i am the 4th owner it has been takin very good care of it was going to be a project car for me and my older brother but he recently had a heart atack and passed and i do not feel it is right to restor it without him it is very cherry and i would like an olds inthusiast to have it to resore i am hoping to get atleast 3500 out of it i might trade for a different olds but i really do need money for my other projects let me know i am in ellensburg washington the car is driveable and street ligal so let me know if ur interested thanks you.~~~~~ Rob
