Need advice Please.
I have an '87 Trofeo. The 231 is in need of rebuild. Head gasket going losing water wth gray exhaust and oil pressure dropping very low (pobably oil pump)No water inhe oil yet . What motors will bolt up other than the 231.It's a good motor but has certain faults.Mostly oil pump design. We want to keep the car and run it, not going to worry about keeping it stock. Would rebuild and re-swap to original if ever going to sell. Will rebuild any way (good block). Not likely we will sell(the wifes toy).Any advice will be appreciated.
