66' Toronado Headlight Baffles Position
Hello Everyone
The 66' Toronado I bought did not come with the headlight baffles so I found and purchased the (2) needed. These are the plastic looking curved shields that go behind the grille and (protect ?) the headlights in the closed position.
Would anyone know:
1. if these are riveted on?
2. if they go in front of or behind the mounting area pictured?
3. if the curved part of the baffle faces the headlights or the grille?
Page 13E-2 of the shop manual has a poor drawing that looks like the baffle is curved towards the grille. I'd hate to install them & find out it's wrong.
Any help as always is appreciated.

Greetings -
Yes, they are riveted on, behind the mounting area shown in your photo.
There is a "left" and "right" - the one pictured should go on the driver side. The extra tab that extends beyond the basic rectangle goes toward the center of the vehicle.
When correctly installed, the curve will face the headlights.
Hope that helps
