Toronado Headlight Action ???

So, I got the vacuum issue worked out with my headlights. They operate but don't want to close all the way immediately. If I let the car sit they do close after a while. Is there a secret to getting these things to operate more freely? I haven't climbed under the front bumper to see if I can grease them or something. But I'm just putting this out there to see if there are some Toro guys here who know more about this than I. That would be almost everyone. Thanks in advance.

What year is your car? Here's a write-up on working on a '67. 68 and 69 are similar, but each are a bit different, I believe.

Thanks. I'm going to hunt this stuff down and get them working right. It seems like they aren't bleeding off correctly. As if the line for the bleed off is clogged.

Do the latches release when you push in the lever? If so, it's likely just an issue with the diaphram, which is likely just sticky. Spraying it down with silicone might help.

Also, if you haven't lubricated all of those moving parts, I would recommend that. Spraying all of the hinges and latches down with TriFlow helped the action on mine quite a bit.

I have lubricated the moving parts but didn't know about lubricating the diaphragm. Where is this located? On the fenderwell? I'm not near the car. That's why I'm asking. This I will try next! Thanks.
