Take a listen

The new 72 just ready to pic up now I'm thinking of a trailer instead of driving the 100 miles home. What's up with the fan makes that ting ting ting noise then looks like it's skipping not on there right. I'm gonna attempt to post these videos I convinced the seller to send me. Post anything you might see front end looks suspicious to me. So let me know what you see thx.

Sight unseen going off your description...Grab it while the engines off and wiggle. You will likely find a bad fan clutch. If it doesnt have a clutch the pump shaft is shot.

Although my laptop speakers are for crap and I could not hear the noise. Check the water pump and clutch for play. You can also remove the belts and run the engine to see if the noise goes away.

The fan clutch is goshitzen. You could probably stop it with your hand with the engine running (wear gloves).

Yea you can see it slipping nothing I can't handle once I get home but I think I'm taking my trailer rather than drive it back, not even this east coast cold blast would help a overheat situation on I95. I ran that video thru my car stereo and that's the only time I heard that ting ting of a fan hitting or just so wobbling Otherwise didn't sound to bad.
