Cold Air Intake

Has anyone here heard of cold air intake for muscle cars? If so what vendors or feedback have you heard? Any good for a car that is not heavily modded? I noticed one in Muscle Car Review from a company called Spectre Performance.

I heard these work pretty good.

That Ram Air box looks good, simple and functional, but why a poncho name for it?
Snorkula is what I would have named it.
I guess you could rip the sticker off if it bothered you.

Yeah those do work pretty good Allan, but are a lot more expensive to install...lol I'm still looking around the web to see if anyone has used the Spectre.

I have one on my car, I removed the high beams and routed hoses from the holes to the snorkel. IMO it is a tad over priced for the finish, but it works fine.

Oldsguy fabricated ram air for his 71 Cutlass years ago. He routed the ram air to the front bumper where the cornering lamps were. I wonder if these ram air systems actually improve HP. It would be interesting to see before and after time slips.
