replacement oil filter
ok, got another question for u guys. i am runnin headman headers...with stock oil filter i have to loosen header bolts and let header drop a little to remove filter. u guys know of a shorter filter. right now i am runnin a remote filter set up with twin filters but would like to go back to single on engine where it is supposed to be. is a 74 olds 350.

How odd. I'm running Dynomax ceramic coated headers (full length) on my 71 Cutlass 350 and have no problems. What brand of headers are yours?

i am runnin headman headers, but got one bent up pretty good so i am gonna change to a new set. my oil filter unscrews and drops onto header but will not come out without loosening header bolts..maybe i should look into dynomax. sorry for the double post, didnt realize it happened.

i have been runnin that dual filter remote set up for quite a few years and even put same set up on my truck. but i want to clean up under hood area. if u check my gallery u can see it on passenger side of engine, pretty bulky. also gonna move battery to trunk. just tryin to make things look nicer under there.

Ahh, I see now. Yes I agree that cleaning up an engine compartment does wonders. I removed A/C, power steering, stock air cleaner, extra hoses, etc from the engine compartment on my '69. It is much cleaner looking and draws attention to the engine and not all the junk hanging on it.
