First start of the car, carburetor over flooding?!

Hi!

Today the first test run of the engine was done. The car has been sitting for maybe 4 years. But I havent touch the engine, more then sparkplugs, oil and som more stuff.

First run was okej, it worked as it should. We then started it a few times and everything was fine.

One hour later, when I start the engine it was going about 15sec before it dies. Next try is the same, the engine is runner for about 15sec then it dies.
Some gas was dripping around the carburetor from the air filter.

Whats my next step? Is the needle stuck or what do you think?
Hope you understand what i mean.

While you are working on this please have a fire extinguisher close by. Don't ask me why I tell you that but you probably would get it right on the first guess.

You could try to lightly tap the top of the carb with a hammer, then start it up.
Hope this helps

New gas does not help for sure. May want to pull the top off of the carb and clean the bowl (if you did not already).
