Ebay stainless 350 headers

I know there was a thread talking about these headers but for some reason I cant find it. Has anyone bought and installed the headers that are sold on ebay for about 180.00? I was thinking of purchasing these and an H pipe flowmaster exhaust kit. Heres the link to the headers.

any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

small and big block

Ive never had a 455 but from what I have read the blocks are similar or the same...but the 455 is taller is some regard so they actually use the same header.....im sure im off a bit so everyone don't rip me apart!

I purchased a set of these a couple of years back. Yes, the picture looks nice. However, they don't show the sharp kinks in the bends behind the tubes. A restriction and hot spot. I emailed them back and they told me that if I didn't like them to just send them back. I pay the shipping from Cal. to Michigan. Anyways, I am running them for the time being. They do have thick flanges and clear everything (starter, oil filter) nicely. They were a breeze to put in from underneath. The #6 rear bolt was a real PITA and I had to hog it out a little to be able to get the bolt in with a short one. Some of the others needed to be honed a little to line up. As I learned again, You get what you pay for. For a low budget and just street, I guess these are fine. At least they won't rust! Oh, and I run a 455.

OK, there a tread downstairs in the 442 department thats have pictures of the installation in a 1968 442 convertible with a 455, auto trans. The fit is not a clean fit but definitly possible to do without major difficulties. On the second hand my friend with a 350 engine in a 1972 convertible had REAL problems to make them fit and on his car they hanged really low, with bad clearance to the ground. Just for information to you all.

There are 2 good things about these cheapy's. 1 They clear the starter and large oil filter nice. 2 They tuck up real nice underneath compared to my old Heddman's that hung really low. Again, this is a 455 in a 72 Cutlass.
As far as the 68 install, my passenger side is close to the A arm but not a problem. Anyways, they still wont rust like my old ones and will do until I can replace them with some good ones.

The problems you might be having is the difference between BB & SBs. I never found any brand that would fit both.

They fit the SBO's very well including in the 64-67 frames! Yes I said that correct. So finally a solution to the 64-67 SBO header problems. Sad they have to be chinese knockoffs instead of the big guys making headers for them. A racer I talked to runs them on his 67 with a 330 and said only required a small dimple on a one tube each side, a rob mc mini starter and to open up the end holes in the flange outward as they are abit close together. I'll be picking up a set for the 66.

I just purchased a set of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/262786905684
Damn that's cheap and shipping to Canada is $28. Unreal. They are probably the same China made headers. There's another thread on here about these. They are a copy of the Hooker 3902.

These headers are supposed to fit 65-67 big blocks and 68-75 big or small.
The 65-67 have a tight engine bay. The crossmember is higher and closer to the engine. I wouldn't be surprised if you could swap out the engine mounts on a 65-67 small block for 68-75 mounts which will raise the engine an inch and possibly make the headers fit. I will post a review when I receive them.
