I have read else where that is an April fools joke.....so the story is a couple of months old.

If I'm wrong, I would like to know the truth.

Not that I like Toyota, but if that was true GM would have got what they deserved for screwing up Olds in the first place. If they don't do something soon Buick will probably be next.

I have to admit that I own a Toyota. The Olds connection is that this is a 1988 Corolla FX built by NUMMI (New United Motors Manufacturing Inc), the GM-Toyota joint venture and the car was built in the same Fremont, CA plant as my 66 442, so they're sort of related.
