Sticky goey intake deposits problem....

While I was replacing a bad head gasket, I noticed some really strange intake deposits on the bottom of the all the cylinder head intake runners and in the intake manifold runners and floor. It’s golden in color and sticky like honey. I’d seen it before in the floor of the intake a month or so ago when I had the carb off, but didn’t think much of it, and ran 2 bottles Chevron Techtron fuel injector cleaner thru it. Apparently it didn’t help. It’s soft and goey and when I scrape some off with my fingernails it cleans up with acetone fairly easily. As you can see from the picture, it’s like a sticky glue, what could cause this? Can the cheap gas be the cause of this? I drive it at least every other day or so .....
