Rocket 88 Holiday Sedan

Anybody know where i can get ahold of a Harmonic Balancer? or information about it? I have the full service manual but i can't seem to find any info, was it called something else?

Sometimes these are just called crankshaft pulleys. I don't know if the '56s were balanced or not. Earlier rockets were not - they were balanced internally. I don't know what year they started balancing externally with the harmonic balancer.

My 64 98 has a harmonic balancer on the front of the engine and a vibration dampner bolted to the flywheel where the transmission splines to the engine. I had to replace both when I rebuilt my engine. The vibration dampner was a bit harder to find. I bought one from Fatsco transmissions.

Harmonic Balancer

I sent mine out to Dale Manufacturing to be rebuilt, will post the results when i put it back in! My transmission is rebuilt and ready! brakes rebuilt and ready...
so my Rockabilly Rat Rocket is almost ready for launch!
