carb ?'s
My freshly rebuilt 4barrel roch. is still giving me problems,not sure if it's a vacuum leak or carb just not getting enough fuel.If i pour gas directly into fuel bowl or down barrels it will start and rev really high.Other than that she won't start.where should i start to look first?novice

If the carb is the only thing you have changed then make sure your idle mixture screws are backed out 2.5 turns to start out with. That is a good starting point for Quadrajets. You also need to set the choke with the car cold. Make sure the carb is tight against the manifold, and double check your vacuum ports and make sure if there are any you aren't using they are plugged. Hopefully that will get the car started and you can tune it from there. Good luck.
