1972 350 rocket
My motor which was rebuilt about 4 years i think and i bought the car about 2 months ago and now the shop where my car is at says the top half of my motor is not getting any oil so they say i need to spend about 2 grand to fix it, does anyone know what this could be, the top half of my motor is dry, they say no oil getting into valve train, replace the cam shaft bearings or something.
Any Help anyone ?

First and foremost, find an "Olds" man to look at it. My experience with Ch#y and F*ord guys is that they don't know how an Olds motor works and do things like throw in high volume oil pumps without bothering with the return or setting clearances way too tight.
That's just my (WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY much more than) $0.02 of experience. C.J.
