Can someone let me know what the correct casting number would be for both a 1968 Olds Cutlass S Rocket 350 with a 4 barrel carb; and the same info for a W31 intake manifold for a 1968 Ram Rod?

For the archives, I found out that for a 1968 350, no matter whether Std. 310 HP
or W-31, they used the same intake manifold, casting number 398663.

Same casting is used on a 69 350 also but the 68 only has "divorced" choke. 69 has choke tubes to choke on carb!

Uh, no. The 68-69 cars all used the same intake and divorced choke. The manifold doesn't have the provisions for the tubes for the integral choke. They have the cast-in pocket for the bimetallic coil. The 1970-up cars used the integral choke and the intakes had the provision for the tubes.

now i know i have the right one for my 68 project. That was my main purpose?

I checked my intake, it is the 398663 casting, 68 4bbl from cutlass S.
Archives are correct.
