I thought I wanted to drop a 455 in my 72 Cutlass conv, but I see I will have to change a lot more than just the motor. So I have decided to beef up the numbers matching 350 motor I have. Any suggestion on what I should do to get more from this engine. I have a 350 TH trans that is already in the car with a shift kit installed, a 4 barrel carb, dual exhaust with 2 1/2" pipe and dynomax mufflers and a HEI distributor and H.O. coil. This is not enough. PLS help.

Chris, no matter what the books say, headers for your 72 supreme are the same as the headers for a cutlass or a 442 w/ the 350, chassis are all the same. Don, you have done just about everything that you can do externally, now it's time to add a good street cam and rearend gear change to add the oomph that you're looking for.
