I was wondering how difficult it would be to swap an LT1 SBC 350 engine with a 4L60E auto trans into a 1966 cutlass body. The cutlass has a 330, and auto trans.

I am curious if you made the swap?
I have a 1967 Cutlass and was considering engine swap options. My car is stock with a 330 2 barrel and Jetaway two speed. |

Bobolds, If you haven't purchased an engine yet might I suggest a 400/400? Keeping it Olds would probably be easier.

Jimmy - if you haven't already found it lt1tech.com has a forum which might help you.
Bobolds - I'm in your exact same position with a '67 Cutlass convertible. 330 4bbl T-350. I've been looking at LS1 derived engines like the 5.3/6.0 out of trucks/SUVs. Trying to figure if I want to keep by T-350 or buy an engine with attached tranny. |
