Small Block Identification help

I am having trouble identifying a small block Olds V8 that I have.

I have read online that there is a code on the end of one of the heads that identifies the engine. I can't remember what head it was, but I found the following code on that head. It was a year or two ago, so that is why I can't remember what side it is from.

The code is: U576361L.

I can not find any Olds V8 engine codes that start with a "U", but my search has only been online. From what I was told when I bought it, it should be a 1965 Olds 330.

Can anyone help?

I'm not familiar with the "U" either. Start with the block casting number, on the small shelf next to the oil fill tube. Next, get the head casting number (above the center two exhaust ports). Those should at least get you close.
