Pictures always upside down

Anyone know why every pic I post is either sideways or upside down. I have a IPhone 5 and have tried everything with the phone it self. Even tried taking a picture upside down post it & maybe it would be right side up ?? No same result I'm losing my mind trying to figure why

I have a regular Mac, and just use Preview to rotate photos to any position I want them in.

I am guessing that there is no such application for the iPad.

iPads are the work of Satan.

Got a IPhone 5 state of the art, tried turning my camera in every direction, I've edited them by flipping them the right way saving it then posted it from a saved file. Same deal maybe I am upside down

Like the autoINcorrect feature when typing that always seems to put in the wrong word iPhone iPad has a auto rotate feature which always seems to turn stuff the wrong way

Here's a good little article on the issue, and what to do about it.

So, to paraphrase the article:

Apple designed the iPhone / iPad platform to be able to take and display photographs in any orientation. These units always know where "Up" is, so they record where "Up" was when the picture was taken, and make sure that "Up" is up when they display it. They do this by encoding where "Up" is in the EXIF information (the part of the photo file that has the aperture, shutter speed, camera model, file name, date, time, and GPS coördinates).

Unfortunately, MicroSoft has chosen to ignore Apple's "Up" information, so when iPhone and iPad pictures are displayed through MicroSoft software, they will often be displayed upside down.

The solution is to use one of a number of different applications to rotate the photos before posting.

Photos can be rotated with Windows alone. Just right-click the image and select "Open with" and then select "Windows Photo Viewer." Rotate the image as needed using the controls at the bottom, and when you close the image, it is automatically saved in the new orientation.

Other programs with which you can open the file will likely pop up as well, depending on what you have installed on your computer, and any of them will be able to rotate a photo. It's one of the most basic editing tools there is.

I do everything from my phone hardly ever near a good wifi PC or IPad. Tried doing the rotate thing from my phone even tried to trick them by sending one in upside down hoping it would flip like always but know still wrong way.
Although the last two I sent into a thread they were right. Last two I'm on a roll
