The best bet might be at a major show/swap meet like Carlisle or Pomona.

I have been pondering the idea of local meets for a long time and I think it would be a lot of fun...

Nothing too official, but perhaps meet for a lunch or early dinner at a unique restaurant with lots of parking... Look at cars, get to know each other, eat, look at cars afterwards... Those whose cars are not drivable at the time are welcome to bring a different car.

OR, maybe we can meet up some morning at a Sonic or something, grab some coffee, look at cars, shoot the breeze, then maybe those who have time can all take a country drive together for lunch at a distant place...

These outings work well in my motorcycle club, so why not do so in a smaller group in our Olds?

Any Dallas, TX area members interested? Using some of our past scenic bike rides, I can put something together quite easily; just let me know!

The spring cruising weather is arriving soon, and this upcoming weekend looks nice!

He's in WI. Quad States in his case. Maybe the Renner Olds show if they still do it; seems like I read they were still having it.

I plan on making a big show somewhere this year depending on when the car is together. Maybe Goodguys Columbus??

As for meeting local I am all for it but I hate being anywhere without a car. The local Olds club probably thinks I don't like them. I went to two meetings early 2008 and took the car apart so I have not been back since. If anyone remembers me the car will look a little different the next time I go

I would like to go the the Nationals this year but I am not sure I can get off. I am going to GM Carlisle in June but not with my Cutlass. I still have too far to go to get it ready.
