2 attempts yesterday to post thread

If you take too long it can be an issue.
Before hitting submit, ctrl-a select all, ctrl-c copy it all, then if the post fails, you have not lost the text.
Another trick is to post one word, make sure it goes in OK, then edit that post.
In any event, if you have put any effort into it like 2 sentences, select all, copy, before submitting. SOMETIMES I have been able to use the BACK feature and REFRESH and get all that text back, but usually not.

Go to the parts for sale classified section, read the rules, then start a new thread.

If you don't hit summit or post a quick reply at the end of your post you will lose what you had also. I don't know why but after 4000 posts I have done that 3 times lately... Brain dead... Tedd
