Stock Dipstick & Tube Needed

I am looking for a stock Dipstick & Tube for my 66 400 motor. I tried a chrome one but couldn't get it to seat properly so it just wobbles all over the place...

The chrome one I used on my 350 needed the flare filed down to fit the block. I measured the old tube flare and the new one and the new one was quite a bit larger. Once it was filed down it fit great

You would think for $70 you would get the tube too...
I just need a stick, but not for 70 bucks, damn.

The Supercars dipstick & tube I bought for my '71 455 wasn't close to OEM, I never installed it. Keep looking for NOS or good used.

Walt might be travelling?
Try the ph # I pm'd to someone.

Tubes are hard to find, tough to extract unbroken w/o taking pan off. I have a puller for the '68+ tubes but not for the early ones.
