ELECTRIC TAIL GATE JAMB SWITCH FOR 1968 OLDSMOBILE "A" and "B" BODY STATION WAGONS

In search of subject left (driver's side) electric tail gate jamb switch for a 1968 Oldsmobile "A" or "B" body wagon. The Jamb is adjacent to the tail gate latch.

Were there 1968 B body station wagons in other makes? Chevy, Pontiac, etc..?

i know there where pontiacs and chevys

i cant say ive ever seen a buick

heck 2 weeks ago i saw my first 68 cutlass wagon...never saw one before...or never noticed

Yes, there were, and for all three of the other makes I believe. Oldswas the only one not to produce a B-body wagon from 1964 through 1970.

The OP's question, though, did specifically ask about Oldsmobile.

Let me amend this.

Buick followed Oldsmobile's lead, sort of. Olds did not produce a full-size wagon starting with the '64 model year and going though '70. That's seven model years.

Buick DID produce a full-size wagon at the beginning and end of this stretch, in '64 and in '70. Buick did not produce a full-size wagon from '65 through '69.


Pontiac and Chevy never stopped producing full-size wagons during this period.
