Summit wants too much. I don't mind restoring wheels. If you or anyone you know has a set, a couple, or whatever, let me know. I'm trying to stick to my restrictive budget, set by... me. I'd like for the wheels to be complete with trim rings, and center caps if at all possible. Thank you.

Jon,
I have a set of 4 or 5. You decide. All 4 are missing the trim rings and 2 are missing the center caps. Asking $175 for 4. Email me at fearthisrocket@yahoo.com and I'll get you some pics. I'm located in Michigan. Tom |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did the SS2 wheels have the screw in center caps? If so did they come in a 15" wheel size? I've got Cragars ss on mine now I will be dumping.

70redvert,
Funny you mention that... End of summer last year I was looking at a 1970 red convert. that had Cragar SS wheels on it - I thought it looked sharp, even though it was not stock. The car had a nice white interior but just a 2BBL carb on the 350. Wonder if this was the same car...

Hey,
I've got a set of 5 SSI wheels off of my 72' cutlass. They're in great shape. All have center caps and chrome rings, might want to repaint the black because they're a little faded. Also, I think that one or two of the center cap stickers are gone, but they're fairly inexpensive to replace. What is your time frame on getting the rims? They're still on the car and it's going in for body and paint in about two weeks. I'm about a month out for getting rid of them. I paid $300 for my SSIII rims and I just want to make enough to cover their cost. Is $300 outside of your budget? |

'72 Lady
Defiantly not the same car. From 50' this car doesn't look to bad. Up close it needs a lot of work. I'm trying to give myself 2 years for this project. I want a good weekend driver. Not trying to build a show car. By the way it has black interior. Your car looks great. Greg |
