wanted 70-72 350 olds engine in NC

Hi,
Like the title says, I am looking for a 70-72 350 2bbl or 4bbl does not matter. I am in greenville Nc. Would like to find one close to home, dont want to deal with shipping. Prefer a stock motor. Mine is built, but with gas prices I cant afford to drive it. I get about 9 or 10 miles per gallon. I am not selling my motor, just want to swap something in for now so I can drive it more. I have only put 5000 miles on it in 14 years.
Thanks for any info,
Mike

I have a 70 350 2 bbl engine that is partially disassembled. It would need to be rebuilt. It is in a 70 Cutlass 2dr that I bought for parts. I'll take $100 for it. I'm located near Greenville,SC in Easley.

I am also located in Greenville, NC. Wish I could help, but I can't think of anyone with an older 350.

How much is disassembled. I would prefer a complete running engine. I dont really want to build another one. If all else fails I might be interested

1972 engine for sale

Mike, I just acquired a 72 cutlass for parts. I am going to be using just about everything except the engine, transmission, rear end, and front bench seat. I was told the engine ran fine. As you can see from the pictures, the car was hit hard in the rear end and that's why it's no longer on the road.

I live in Southeast Ohio.

I'm not sure what price to ask for the engine or engine/tranny combo.

I am doing a frame off on a 1970 Cutlass SX convertible and would be interested in trades for needed parts. If you happen to have nice restorable or show quality parts of any kind, maybe we can do some trading.

Please reply to my email address and remove the word "SPAM" dan@eurekaSPAMnet.com

Thanks,

Dan

cruznn,
The intake and heads were removed and are inside the car. All the glass is good and the hood was on the car so nothing has been exposed to the weather as far as I know.

I would love to get the engine, but the distance is a bit far for a road trip in the near future. I would not be able to get enuff time off work to make the trip. I am familiar with PA because I lived in Ohio untill 3 years ago. If you were closer I would buy it now. Thanks for the reply.

It would probably be easier to have built Taz's motor by the time you find what you want.

chances of a 70-72 350 complete and running carb to pan, within an hour or 2of there are pretty slim I would imagine. The motors will have been running for 38 years already

Or I'm sure there is a buddy or neighbor in one of your towns that would deliver it for the right price.
