intake manifold plug on manual brake cars

intake manifold plug on manual brake cars

In the below pic it's listed as "6L PLUG-MANIFOLD VACUUM". 1/4-18 pipe thread. it goes on the intake runner between #5 and #8 cylinders. Below that is an example of one installed on an intake. Let me know if anyone has an original (not really interested in a repro assuming they exist). Thanks, Chris

Chris didn't the intake I sold you off my 69 have that plug in it?

Nope. That was the one plug missing. If you still have it, I'll take it. Along with all the bolts we've been talking about. The engine is in the process of being built so I'll need this stuff sooner rather than later. We'll talk.

L is LISLE... the manufacturer..should be able to source it brand new...

napa is where id try...the resto guys act like they are special..but are easy to get.. and cheap..

if it doesnt have the L stamp it in..the font is easy to find..

I am in need of a full set of plugs as well. After Chris gets his if anyone else has a set please let me know.
Mark my napa didnt have the same style. They had the set screw type with an allen on top. Still searching the local parts stores though.

napa has access to them, ya just have to find an old guy that will manually search their parts books

fastenal has access to them too, and prob any plumbing supply..
